Sporades Islands

The sun-blessed Sporades archipelago sits in the Aegean Sea on the east coast of Greece. Only four of its 24 tight-knit islands are permanently inhabited; tranquil Alonnisos and spiritual Skyros, as well as the Mamma Mia! locations of Skiathos and Skopelos.

Experience these ravishing islands from a new perspective reveals its deep knowledge of every beach and cove.

Skiathos, one of the most scenic and verdant Greek islands, owes its evergreen look to the trees scattered all over the place. But, what gives Skiathos this charming and attractive character, is its impressive coastline. There are more than 60 awe-inspiring beaches with white or golden, soft sand and crystal clear waters. The sublime scenery is highlighted by the history of the island and the hospitality of its people. Skiathos is like a piece of jewelry of the Aegean Sea!

The island is famous for its lively nightlife which makes it one of the top destinations for young people. Types of accommodation range from luxurious 5-star hotels and villas to simple rooms and studios or organised campsites for the nature lovers.

Skopelos is the greenest island in Greece. Here, where the green of the pines and the thick forests meets the deep blue of the sea and the sky, creating an image of incomparable natural beauty, the visitor will find himself in an idyllic place, a small paradise in the heart of Greece.

The island of Skopelos is characterized by its dense forests and the blue of its seas, and this is why it was formally declared a green and blue island on 5/5/97 by the international organization of Biopolitics. It is characteristic that the largest part of the island (more than 67%) is covered by a virgin pine forest. A forest that will require your love, care and attention when you visit, so that it can remain as is.
